Community Partners for Hope will be hosting a free forum on suicide, coinciding with Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. On Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. in Friendship Hall, the parents of a 16 year old boy from Montville will share their story. The program will help parents and educators understand what depression can look like, describe many of the red flags often dismissed as typical teenage behavior and urge parents and caregivers to pay attention to mental health issues.
