What Each Guest Should Bring
• Bring four quarts of soup
• Bring the soup in separate containers that you don’t mind giving away.
• The soup should be frozen or refrigerated.
• Swappers should also bring a separate container of soup as a taster.
How The Swap Works
• Sample the Various Soups and write down your favorites
• Draw a number, which will be the order soups are then chosen in
• The “Telling of the Soup” will be done also in order of the numbers drawn. Each chef will have an opportunity to tell a bit about the soup they made and what makes it special
• Begin picking the soup in draw order until each person has picked their first soup, and then on through 4 more rounds until each person has four new soups to go home with!

WHAT IS KIND?
Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) was founded 10 years ago to address the gap in legal services for unaccompanied children in the U.S. KIND partners with and trains attorneys to represent unaccompanied children in their search for safety, including children who have been persecuted in their home countries, trafficked to the U.S., or abused, abandoned or neglected.

KIND’s mission is to ensure that no child appears in immigration court without high quality legal representation.

  • $1,500 - Can provide a critical psychological evaluation for a child seeking asylum in the U.S.
