Faith Seeking Understanding - A Study with Steven Clark Beginning Sept 20: Daniel L. Migliore is the Charles Hodge Professor Emeritus of Systematic Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary.  His textbook, Faith Seeking Understanding: An Introduction to Christian Theology, has become an instant classic for use in colleges and seminaries across the country, now in its third revised edition.  Rather than simply trying to teach the “right” answers to questions of faith with pure dogmatism, Migliore seeks a balance between detailing the differing doctrinal options Christians have held throughout the centuries and continents and to show what is at stake in their debates so that we might have guidance through such contested waters.  Migliore thus strikes a balance between the practical and the theoretical in this text, making it the perfect introduction for any believer looking to take the next step in his faith or to refresh her love for God’s revelation. Our ministry intern, Steven Clark, will be offering a study on Migliore’s text starting September 20th to meet every Tuesday at 7:00 pm, location TBA.  Please purchase the book before the first meeting on Sept. 20. It is about $30. If interested please sign up on the website www.firstreformedchurch.com/events or on the sign up sheet at the welcome center in Friendship Hall.
