F.U.S.E - High School Ministry

F.U.S.E. (Faith, Unity, Spirit, Everyday) is for youth in 9th-12th grade. During the school year we meet at 10:00am each Sunday (except the first Sunday of the month when the congregation celebrates Communion with one another) in the High School Youth Room (downstairs in the Ministry Center). We also meet on Wednesday nights for FUEL Youth Group. This programs begins in Friendship Hall.

WEEKLY CLASSES:

  • SUNDAY CLASSES - Sunday morning classes are on a break for the summer. High school Sunday morning classes resume on September 8th at 10:00am. Students go to worship first, and then are dismissed to their class. 
  • FUEL YOUTH GROUP - Games, food, friends, and a fun discussion from God's Word. Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Middle school and high school youth are invited. They are encouraged to invite a friend, too. We meet in Friendship Hall at FRC. FUEL for this Fall will begin on Wednesday, September 11th.
  • CONFIRMATION CLASSES - Confirmation Sunday is May 31st. Our Confirmation class meets after church in the middle school room on the following Sundays: 
    • February 2, February 23
    • March 8, March 15, March 29 (After Service Sunday)
    • April 19
    • May 3, May 24

UPCOMING EVENTS!

  • Big Game Party: Middle school and high school youth are invited to the youth room on Sunday, February 2nd for the big game. We'll gather at 6:00pm and parents should pick up their youth after the halftime show. Please bring a food items to share with the group. Drinks will be provided.
  • Parenting Seminar - "Under the Influence": Sunday, February 23rd. Amy Flavin with the Center for Parent and Youth Understanding will lead us in a discussion on healthy ways to help kids navigate today's drug culture. 6:30pm in Friendship Hall. Click for more.
  • High School Winter Retreat: Trout Lake Retreat Center in the Pocono Mountains. All high school youth should plan to attend this memorable event. We’ll leave after school on Friday and return at around 2:30pm on Sunday. Cost is $145.00. Click to Register.
