Throughout the extended weekend of March 19-21, our Interim Process Consultant, Linda Milanowski-Westdorp, will be available to meet with members throughout our congregation to get acquainted with who we are, what values guide us, and where God is leading us in our path ahead.
Included with this invitation are documents and questions for you to consider as we begin to formulate what will ultimately lead to defining criteria for the search team to hire a new pastor.
During this first round of listening sessions we will focus on two broad topics:
- How are we doing, three months into the transition following our Lead Pastor's departure?
- How are we feeling? What concerns do we have? What is going well?
- What adjustments are needed to better journey through the estimated year of transition ahead of us?
- Our mission, vision and values:
- What still resonates; where are we living well into our aspirations, what might we need to stop, start, or continue, short and long-term?
- Begin to articulate where you feel God calling us to focus in the next season of our life together.
Linda will capture key themes, and present to consistory where there is strong alignment and where differences need to be fleshed out. As we see alignment in our way forward, we will then translate how this information can inform how we organize as a staff, and most importantly, articulate what we are looking for in a new pastor.
