Bread of Life - Help fight the Food Desert in Newark: Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of hungry people? The Passaic Valley Classis is organizing volunteers to make sandwiches and distribute Grab and Go bags on Sunday afternoons. FRC is being asked to staff Nov. 13 & Dec. 11. Five or six people are needed to make the sandwiches, assemble, and distribute the bags and clean up the kitchen. Supplies will be provided. You will make the sandwiches in the FRC kitchen after the 8:30 am service. We will leave about 12:15 pm to head to Newark. Travel time is about 20 -25 minutes. We will carpool.
