Who is Jesus? It’s an odd question for church folk to ask themselves, perhaps. But, who is Jesus? How can we describe him? Would we describe Jesus the same way? Who is Jesus for today? How can spaces of reflection and quiet can help us in our learning toward asking ourselves this important question?
We will survey the Gospel of Mark according to the schedule provided. We will practice spaces of silence in listening to the Holy Spirit and also give space to robust discussion and listening to the Spirit through one another. For each class, learners should complete the reading before attending class.
