What to Expect

First Reformed Church (FRC) wants to offer you an experience that is deep and meaningful, while also inspirational. FRC is a safe place to bring your doubts, questions, and curiosities, regardless of your beliefs or background. We invite you to come and take a look around.

Worship Services

Our Sunday morning worship services are designed to equip and inspire you to know God better and enable you to become the person God created you to be. No matter where you are in life, we'll help you figure out the next steps in your journey with him.

Our Common Ground worship service offers a relaxed feel with a blended musical style. Our Celebration worship service also has a blended musical style, but leans toward a more traditional feel, featuring our choirs and musicians.

Attire

Attire at FRC ranges from ties to jeans, dress shirts to t-shirts, and even shorts. You'll fit in no matter what you wear.

Parking

The church owns the parking lot in front of the municipal building across the street from our campus.  You are welcome to park there, along the curb in front of our campus, or in the back of our buildings.

Nursery Care

Our nursery is safe, clean, and staffed by a loving group of paid and volunteer caregivers that will provide exceptional care for your children from infant to two years old. Parents sign their children in and sign them out after the service.  When you bring your child to the nursery, you will receive a vibrating pager so the staff can notify you, if needed. The nursery in the Ministry Center building, located to the right inside the main entrance.

Children are Welcome

Children and youth are welcome to stay during the full worship service. They can also choose to go to one of our educational programs which start about 15 mins in the service.

Our children's ministry program (2 year olds to 5th graders), Spark, is an engaging and fun place to learn and connect with other kids.  It is offered during the Celebration worship service and are located in the "Ministry Center" just south of the Sanctuary. The children gather in the room at the top of the stairs and, from there, are guided to their age-specific classrooms.

Middle and High School students have programming during Celebration too. The middle school program is called Ignite and the high school program is called F.U.S.E. (Faith, Unity, Spirit, Everyday).  They begin their time in the basement of the ministry center.  No need to sign them in, but you can come down and check it out if you would like.
