The Community Partners for Hope and township ecumenical community present the annual tree lighting event! The day will start with a parade of decorated vehicles at 4:00 p.m. Activities include a Gingerbread cookie decorating station, Trackless train, “Christmas Story” reading, Singers & musicians from the High School, Christmas ornament decorating station, Photo opportunities with Santa’s helpers, Hot chocolate, and Lighted vehicles. The Tree lighting ceremony will begin at approximately 5:30 p.m. In addition, donations of socks, gloves and hats for the homeless people throughout Morris County will be collected. A quilt made by Quilting for a Cause will be raffled off for those who donate the above items.
