Palm Sunday Services: Sunday, April 2nd, 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Palm Sunday offers us the opportunity to celebrate Christ’s entrance into Jerusalem and into the remembrance of the final week of his life on earth—walking with him through the depth of sorrow to the light of the resurrection. These creative worship opportunities will involve our Handbell & Chancel Choirs, symbolism, and art. Come and celebrate! The 8:30 a.m. service will be in Friendship Hall, and the 10:00 a.m. service will be held in the Sanctuary.

Maundy Thursday Ecumenical Service: Thursday, April 6th. 7:30 p.m. at Preakness Reformed Church

On Maundy Thursday, we focus on Scripture about Jesus’ last Passover meal with his disciples; showing them how he has come to serve, he washes their feet. He leaves them this command: “love one another as I have loved you.”  [John 13:34] Bring new ears to hear the old, old story in Scripture and song. Be reminded of the Upper Room experience where Jesus washed his disciples’ feet and shared an Agape Feast with them. Communion will be offered as a part of this experience. Service will be held in the Berdan Hall at Preakness Reformed Church. 7:30 p.m.

Good Friday Ecumenical Service: Friday, April 7th, at 8:00 p.m.

The echo of Jesus’ last words on the cross will be heard at this ecumenical worship experience with area pastors and a combined choir participating. First Reformed Church will be hosting the service in our Sanctuary at 8:00 p.m. Live-streaming will not be available for this service. Preakness Reformed Church and Pompton Reformed Church will be joining us for this ecumenical event. Join us as we experience the darkness of Good Friday, making our hearts ready for the light and resurrection of Easter.

Easter Sunday Services: Sunday, April 9th, 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

He Is Risen!. Easter is the joyful end to the Lenten season. Worship services will both be celebrated in the sanctuary. In-Person services will be live-streamed and recorded for later viewing. The services will be led by our vocalists and Chancel Choir, with brass accompaniment. Join us as we celebrate the greatest news ever heard—the pivotal point of history— the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a day of celebration and joy! Invite your friends and family to worship with you.
