FRC Needs a Church Van
Young people are a celebrated part of our FRC family. Our vibrant FRC youth ministry relies on the FRC van for transportation to their yearly retreats, mission trips, and even local outings. However, our FRC van was recently decommissioned when a blowout damaged portions of the vehicle’s undercarriage. After weighing several pathways forward, our Consistory determined a different van is needed to support FRC’s youth ministry program. We ask for your financial support for this need. Pastor Dave and a fundraising team are aiming to raise $40,000 for a used Ford Transit 15-passenger van. Consistory hopes this van can support FRC ministry even outside our youth ministry. You can give online on our website to the “Van Fund”. You can also join us for a Youth Ministry Beefsteak fundraiser at the Bloomingdale Firehouse on Friday, June 12. All funds raised will go directly to support this van purchase as we continue to support our youth ministry and other FRC ministry areas in need of transportation. The Women’s Ministry has donated $5000 towards this cause and asks others to join them in donating whatever you can. The Bea Card Kettlewood Estate fund will also supplement the congregation’s giving to purchase a van. Use the links below to support this effort.
